15km Start times from 06:40

8km Start times from 07:20

The routes are looking brilliant as the farm has come to life in a sea of green over the past few weeks. The event plays host to 3 different distances, 21km, 15km and 8km. The routes are majority single trail with district road linking them to each other. On any given weekend 11km of the route is made up of exclusive trail running trails, this weekend we will be running rolling closure of certain mtb trails for you. This means as the leader enters that trail, the trail will be closed to riders until the last runner makes it there. You will come across riders on the district roads, please keep left and respect any farm vehicles.

*Kindly note that due to the rains, we have had to shorten the 21km to 19,6km. Please do note that the trails are not muddy though, they are in great condition, we just had a wash out on one of them.

The route is well marked, to avoid confusing the run marking with standard farm marking please follow the red arrows on white boards and the respective split signs on route.

There are 4 water points across the route, obviously more on longer distances. To best help you prepare your hydration, please read through the water point placements below : –

– 8km : WP 4,3km & Finish

– 15km : WP 1 @ 4,6 km,  WP 2 @ 8,1km, WP 3 @ 12,3km & Finish

– 21km : WP 1 @ 4,6km, WP 2 @ 11,2km, WP 3 @ 15km & Finish (we do advise that runners carry hydration packs for this route due to the long gap between WP1 & WP2)

*Please note that WP distances may vary on different GPS devises.

In case of an emergency, please stop where you are. Ask somebody around you to go to the nearest farm directional sign. On the back of the sign is a contact number, please call that number and give us the name of the trail you are on. We will have somebody with you in a few minutes if you follow this process.

Runner briefing will happen 5 minutes before each distance departs. You will be called into the starting pen and briefed there by the event MC or route director.

Please feel free to stick around after the run, enjoy the morning with a coffee and or a breakfast at the club house.

We estimate that prize giving should happen around 08:20. This is when 70% of the field is in. Kindly note that you do need to be present to qualify for your prize.
